VH1

VH1 is an International Music and Entertainment channel, catering to the urban youth in India. The bulk of its content is music, it plays music videos and some non fiction content. VH1 wanted to refresh its look and feel and use the rebranding to reposition itself as a music ++ channel, a pop culture channel.

Within pop culture, music specifically influences identity, i.e. my style, my attitude, my image. Off late music videos have had a creative resurgence. More and More artists are pushing aesthetic and conceptual boundaries. Therefore, our creative seeked to engage the viewer through imagery vs language or emotion, it seeked to create a vibe. Using DYNAMIC, SEXY and STOIC as their new brand personality keywords we created a VH1 was a sexier, more dynamic and homogenous.
