Zoom

Zoom was India's first Bollywood lifestyle and glamour TV channel. The advent of social media presented the channel with a crisis of relevance, the glamorous lives of stars became more accessible, thanks to facebook and twitter.

We reconfigured their brand strategy from one of reporting about glamour to one of connecting with the audience within the world of glamour. An element of 'how-to' gave the viewer a more tangible take away, while watching the tv channel.

After refining the channel's purpose, we translated our core aims into communication elements. The tagline 'Turn On' is a tongue-in-cheek cue to live a richer life, full of expressions. It's the same idea that's hinted at, in the logo as well. The broadcast package then expands on the same thought, taking it a bit further, by using a full range of colours to compliment the master red. To top it all, the use of geometrical patterns paved a connect into the world of fashion and glamour.
