RSVP

RSVP is Ronnie Screwvala's film production house that has set itself up to be a tight unit of driven professionals that seek to make entertaining substantive successful movies. Through the identity program, we attempted to achieve a fresh and simple image for the brand. Our designs are meant to feel friendlier and more tangible compared to the grandeur of traditional movie studio logos.

The simplicity of the design is paired with craft led detailing that communicates the idea that though we are contemporary and approachable we intend to put out movies that have a lot of substance.

Storytelling, Nostalgia, Crafted, and Friendly.

The typewriter inspires the logo; it's an ode to the tool on which stories were written. The celebration of the tool and its workings suggest what we seek to do as RSVP, which is to take stories and craft them into a finished compelling product, a feature film. It cues process, method, complexity, and precision with personality and charm.

The design has a high contrast graphic colour palette. Since we chosen an understated approach to the design we decided to be very graphic and bold with the colour palette red, black and white. The RED is our element of drama, of cinema.
